Good fellow disciples. This is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. A saying that we Advent Christians have used before is: This Could Be the Day! It has been meant to be a reminder that Jesus could come back today. It is true. He could. Jesus is coming back and when he does he will establish his kingdom and inaugurate it with the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. What a wonderful celebration it will be when the family is finally all together jointly praising the King. There will be brothers and sisters there from every tribe and nation. Perhaps you will be sitting next to someone from somewhere else and another time that you have never met. But they will not be a stranger to you nor you to them. The family will be together at last. It is our privilege to pray for such brothers and sisters today. Their stories and needs are represented in what you will soon read. May your observations stir you to lift these dear ones in prayer and cause you to yearn for the Day when Jesus comes back and the family is finally home. They are your brothers and sisters in Christ.
